Gart's Road, Available Now!!

I ordered the proofs last week and expected them to arrive on Thursday. Tuesday evening, I drove up to find a package waiting for me on the porch. I was thrilled!! I'm not sure how it managed to get here so quickly, but I was more than happy to get it inside and open it up to see the results of 16 months of work.

It's big, y'all.

Gart's Road is fully 30,000 words longer than Mage's Burden. I also decided to act on the feedback of a significant number of folks who gently suggested that the font could be a little bigger. You know...to reduce squinting. The results of these changes is that the paperback is nearly twice the size of the first book. It has a really nice heft to it, and it's much easier to read. I'm not gonna lie, I had some emotional moments as I looked at the book in my hands for the first time.

I'm really proud of this book. It was SO much fun to write, and after the efforts of my amazing proofreader (Thanks, Michelle!) and some extra time in the editing process, I'm really pleased with the results. I hope that folks enjoy it.
