Next weekend, February 28 and March 1, I'll be in Lake Jackson, Texas for the Brazoria County Comic Con! It's the 4th year for BCCC, and I've been looking forward to it ever since I drove back from the last one a year ago, lol!
Held at the Doris Williams Lake Jackson Civic Center near 288 and Oak Drive, it's a super-fun, family-friendly event with something for everyone who enjoys comics, movies, gaming, cosplay, and...fantasy books!! I'm bringing a truck-load of them, and for those who bought them last year, I hope you'll bring some friends who desperately neeeed something to read.
We had a blast last year, and I'm excited to take another trip down to my old stomping grounds. Fun fact: when I got my first big-boy job at BASF Corp, I moved into a tiny duplex on Winding Way. I started writing my first book in that little place—which sat roughly where the HEB parking lot is now. ☺️
Here's some of what awaits you at BCCC:
- ⭐ Celebrity Guests — meet your favorite stars, grab autographs & photo ops
- 🎮 FREE Gaming — consoles, arcade fun, and nonstop play
